Beginning on Sept. 28, 2019, UB students will log on to a redesigned, mobile-friendly and intuitive HUB Student Center.
Changes to the HUB Student Center will not impact the HUB Faculty Center or administrative access.
The HUB Student Center will include the same content students are already familiar with, such as enrolling in classes, paying a bill and updating personal information. New enhancements include:
- a tile-based interface that is device-aware for all screen sizes;
- an automated activity guide requiring updates to students’ personal and emergency contact information every term, and;
- ongoing review of functionality and updates as needed.
Enhancements to the HUB Student Center will continue through the end of 2019.
Interface changes have received very positive reactions through several rounds of student testing. To help students navigate the new HUB look, training guides have been made available on the Office of the Registrar website, Financial Aid website and Student Accounts website.

Any student who is enrolled in a payment plan will have their payment plan balance adjusted on October 4, 2019. Your balance may increase or decrease, depending on what your actual balance is in HUB. You will receive an email when this adjustment has been made. Please log in to view your payment plan and the amount of your upcoming payments, as they may have changed.

The upcoming HUB outage scheduled for this September is a change to the typical outage window.
WHAT: HUB and Related Services Unavailable During Maintenance
WHEN: Friday, 9/27/2019 3:00 p.m. – Saturday, 9/28/2019 12:00 p.m. EST
WHO: UB students, faculty and staff
HUB will be unavailable during the time period above while maintenance is performed.
Other affected applications are:
– UB ePay
– Hang Tag Requests
– Nelnet QuickPay
– Path Finder Tool
– UBlearns Course Setup Tool
– TAP Dashboard
UBLearns and the Student Success Portal will be available during this outage.
Please note that this outage is longer than usual due to the implementation of improvements to the HUB Student Center. Be sure to plan accordingly for this system outage; we apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.

The last day to enroll in a 3 installment Fall 2019 payment plan is September 14, 2019.

The second Fall 2019 bill will be generated on September 9, 2019 with a due date of October 9, 2019. To view your current charges and other account activity, please log into your HUB student center. If you are an authorized payer, log into your Authorized Payer site.
